Who knew that American Idol could serve up foreclosures as well as singers? Fantasia Barrino is jumping into the celebrity foreclosure group. Her singing just isn't bringing in the money that she thought it would. Of course, she's surrounded by a crowd of scum suckers all telling her how great she is attempting to cash in on the fame. Unfortunately, she has been deemed the most "un-charasmatic" of all Idol winners and her record launches reflect that.

She is struggling to save her Charlotte, North Carolina home and it was nearly auctioned to pay back a loan that she needed to pay her taxes. (Hint, paying taxes with loans is usually a sign of impending doom.) Again, why did anyone think this was a prudent decision?

In any event, a company called Broward Energy Partners paid more than $68,000 of her taxes in 2006 and says they have not been fully compensated. The foreclosure proceeds from an auction sale would be used to pay off the loan. She took a million dollar mortgage out from Bank of America - a TARP fund recipient and never bothered to answer the complaint BAC filed against her. The judge ruled it a default for the plaintiff.
